Climbing in the Algarve is little known... although it offers some amazing climbing and Deep water soloing (DWS). The limestone is a superb quality. Whether you are climbing on the sea cliffs or inland on one of the Limestone crags, it is all excellent rock. Grades vary from easy 3+ up to 8. For the warmer months there is world class DWS.

This introduction Sport Climbing course is ideal for complete beginners with an aspiration to start rock climbing, and for indoor climbers looking to make the transition to climbing outdoors and develop their outdoor climbing skills.

Climbing day trips
Where the adventure starts.
Enjoy a day of climbing at various crags with our guides.. climbers of different levels will have have the opportunity to climb at their level. Top rope, lead, belay, in a fun and safe environment for a day of memorable climbing.

Students should leave the course with a good basic knowledge and skill in climbing techniques, abseiling and safety.
The day normally starts with breakfast at 8.30 followed by an hour of technical skills at the lodge.
Climbing normally ends between 3 and 5 o'clock, with a drinks at the beach or at the climbing refuge.

Portugal and especially Aqua-Ventura is a very addictive place. We went on great bike rides, we found amazing DWS spots (deep-water-soloing) and tried surfing for the first time. <3 :-) The coastline is so wild and beautiful and Aqua-Ventura is the perfect spot for adventure and excitement but you will also find a beautiful, peaceful place with fantastic people and extraordinary, exquisite food.
